The UQ Bicycle User Group (UQ BUG) represent cyclists in The University of Queensland community. The role of the UQ BUG is to provide a common forum for staff and students of UQ who cycle to, from and around The University. This forum seeks to channel information regarding the needs of cyclists through to the relevant bodies governing the facilities and infrastructure of cycling in and around The University.
UQ Transport Systems is the primary contact for UQ BUG in all matters pertaining to UQ facilities and infrastructure, as they have been tasked with developing and maintaining a bicycle management plan for The University. UQ BUG and UQ Transport Systems are keen to develop a pro-active and strategic approach to managing the bikeways, signage, bicycle lockups, and change room facilities on campus.
More information on Cycling at UQ can be found on the Properties and Facilities website.
